Endless vineyards, warm steppe wind and, of course, the best Bessarabian wines! Wine tourism is not only a Bordeaux chateau, it is also a vacation in Ukrainian Bessarabia near Lake Yalpug. From the vines to aging in oak barrels and corking the bottles – our experienced winegrowers and oenologists will be your guides on an exciting journey into the world of wines.

In the tasting rooms both directly at the winery and in the city of Odessa, you will be able to fully experience all the colors of the terroir of Lake Yalpug by tasting unique samples of our wines from different harvest years. This vertical tasting will not leave any winemaker indifferent.

Our winery is part of the Wine and Taste Road of Ukrainian Bessarabia: more than 50 extremely delicious locations are ready to open their real, exciting Bessarabia for everyone. This route will connect local tourist and gastronomic establishments from Odesa to Izmail: you will have the opportunity to visit various wineries, taste local wines, visit the production of local delicacies and restaurants with traditional cuisine – only carefully selected locations with a high level of service.

Basic excursion with tasting

A special “vertical” tasting awaits you. A bright start to the visit will be a tasting of sparkling Tintarella on the roof of our winery in the warm season, and in the cold season we will start with a glass of warm mulled wine. The panorama of Lake Yalpug on one side, the same vineyards on the other, the wine from which goes well with any weather, is really worth seeing.

We go down to the winery and get acquainted with the technological process of grape processing, production and bottling of still and sparkling wines.

And now, to practice! We move to the tasting room in the wine cellar. The difficult task ahead is to evaluate 7 positions of wines:

Tasting snacks are served with drinks: apples, cheese, crackers. And at the end of the tasting, you can taste local specialties: kavarma – a traditional Bessarabian cold dish made of lamb stewed in its own juice with spices, and milina, also known as banitsa – a Bulgarian puff pastry with cheese and cottage cheese. According to popular belief, in addition to all the ingredients, a piece of the soul is put into it, then the milina becomes especially tasty.

There is a branded store on the territory of the winery, where you can buy still and sparkling wines of our production, as well as taste other samples of our products directly in the store.

The cost of a basic excursion with tasting is UAH 200 per guest. If desired, you can pre-order additionally:

  • a tasting set of your own choice (for example, to emphasize certain positions, etc.),
  • an excursion to our vineyards to Lake Yalpug,
  • full lunch or dinner with authentic dishes.

Where to spend a truly unforgettable day on February 14?

Of course, at our winery! After all, it is on this day that Bessarabian Bulgarians celebrate the day of St. Tryphon Zarizan, the patron saint of winegrowers and winemakers. On this day, grape pruning traditionally begins in the vineyards, and in the end, it would be a sin not to raise a glass to the health of everyone involved in wine culture to the best local specialties: fish from Lake Yalpug, local cheeses and lamb. A festival of young wine with a Balkan flavor: rivers of wine, traditional Bulgarian, Moldovan, Ukrainian, Albanian, Gagauz cuisine, music, fiery dances… will present bright and sincere emotions.
